Jess, Jason, Matt and Hai Pei did what many young people do on New Years Eve - they glammed up and went out to celebrate. I was comandeered to do the hair and some of the trickier makeup (eyeliner nad sparkles for Jess in particular). And they dressed and left from our place - which was wonderful.

As for Phil and I we watched the Edinborough Tattoo, I read a couple of new books I bought yesterday on pottery and we were out to it by 11.30pm...... zzzzzzzzzz
