I have been very busy and I thought I would share!!
This was done for a challenge at Chook Scraps - and I love it!! So I thought I would share
This sweet little house at Stanley was so cute standing infront of The Nut. There are gorgeous old houses here... some are available for accomodation and others are tea rooms - how cool would it be to live in one??
These cute ducks out for a morning waddle together at Brickendon Farm - I thought they were delightful - and of course a photo opportunity (sorry about the glare of the light to the left).
Freychinet Penninsula is awesome - this organge colour on the rocks is from an algae in the area - but doesn't it look great in the photos??
This must be the most photographed bridge in Tassie. The Ross Bridge was built by convicts and the carvings are all different and unique. We saw a platypus at the waters edge which was wonderful - never seen one in the wild before
The Old Man of The Forest is a gigantic tree with a huge gall on the side weighing many tons. The majesty of this old tree was fantastic and luckily he is so large and over 700 metres high so he cannot be logged.
This was the challenge I completed for the Blind Scrapping Challenge with SpikeyJen. It was great fun - so thanks Jen..... even if it was more about DH than me....
This photo does not really do this layout justice at all,
the journalling says
"Between the bightness of the day
And and hush of the evening sky
Is the magical hues of twilight"
Yep I know it is cute - and you would also know I don't do cute!! But these bumble bees needed a cute layout so I renegged - don't tell anyone :)
So that is it for a while - I have printed off the Chrissy photos and the new years photos of the kids - so there is more to come.....
Work tmorrow - so this is the last night of my holidays ....... I feel rested and happy - have fun this week whatever you are doing.
Love Carol
