Weekend over back to work tomorrow

Hi everyone......

Well it is Sunday night and I am back to work tomorrow..... although I am suffering from a cold at the moment I don't think itis going to be bad enough to keep me at home and there is so much to do. We have been successful in gaining a heap of funding (over 1.5 million) so I am thinking that life is going to get very fast for a while. Luckily everyone at work is pretty excited and committed to so I look forward to the next year! We have come a long way.....

I had a fun night last night and participated in the LSBS Cyber Crop. Although I am a bit under the weather today (a cold nothing too serious) I hade some cards. Here are a few.

I heard form Matt the other day when I sent him a 'mother moment' email. As he is overseas - I hadn't heard for over a week and I just wanted to know he was fine and having a great time. It seems that he is kept pretty busy on the tour, partying a fair bit ... meaning drinking I think, and touring. He is on the home leg and has taken thousands of photos apparently..... He will probably be in Berlin today or tomorrow and then will tour with Nick for a couple of weeks - he promised to blog then!!

I had the 'girls' over to lunch today and had a wonderful time..... drank a lot of wine, laughed and said we must doo this more often.... we get so busy that all of us are time poor but we love being together. We all get on well. We aer hoping that Menopause the Musical is on in Queanbeyan - as we missed the performance here - should be a blast if we can get in! So good to catch up!

Phil is moving things out of his place and into storage, he is now getting a work room ready in the 2nd bedroom here where he can do his art and have fun! We should have contracts exchanged on Watson in the next week and then a 30 day settlement period. I am looking forward to sleeping at the farm in the shed nad getting to know the property.... it will be fun.

We had a wonderful time with Ross and Sionya last weekend - and I took NO photos how silly is that. But we did go to IKEA and I had fun looking at everything they have! All went without a hitch - except I sprained my ankle - how dumb was that - and didn't I feel like an idiot! Anyway - lots of ice and rest and it is as good as new - I have learnt from bitter experience that I need to treat it properly for a few days and it gets better - if I don't I am still hobbling aound weeks later.

I have booked my accomodation in Melbourne and so I am set to go to a conference there in 4 weeks time and catch up with the lovely Relsi! We are going to the Kaiser Craft Outlet and I can't wait. Plus it will be great to see her too!

Jess and Jason are great - Jess has another position in the same department and is looking forward to that challenge. Mum and Dad were going for a holiday to Queensland for two weeks but have cancelled it due to health reasons, hopefully they will get there later in Winter, I am sure a tropical break will be just the thing to get a bit of relief from our cold winter.

Better go and cook something for Jess and Jason who are due here in an hour or so!!
