Today we put Tarago on the Market

Okay so I know you are all aware that we were thinking what to do about Tarago - Phils 67 acre property on Taylor's Creek Road.....well it is now oficially on the market with Brady's Countywide and will be on the web this week!

We decided that we couldn't live there with the wind farm on all 3 sides and that our requirements are for a wooded block of land in commuteable distance from Canberra. We are looking in the Collector area, Currawang and Boro are also options so we will keep you posted. The property which we featured in the previous post is now under offer - but that is okay - when there are buildings on the property they are often not what you would ideally have anyway and we would have had to build a house.

So the criteria that we are looking for:
  • Over 20 acres but on more than 100 acres (approx)
  • Wooded areas
  • Quiet
  • Reasonable access to Canberra for commuting
  • Able to be built on
  • No need for paddocks, dams or bores as we won't run livestock on it anyway
I have taken part in a cybercrop this weekend so the following are my entries - I have been fortunate to win a few comps lately with my work so I hope I can do the same this time - if not - it was great fun anyway!!!!!

On the weekend of Jessica's wedding Phil and Ross went shopping
for supplies for the vegetarian extravaganza....
he came home with okra, celeraic, fennel and this item.....
A banana flower - I kid you not!
We had to google it in to find out what it was and how to cook it...
The night was fun and a great success but who would have thought???
We found one growing in the Botanical Gardens in Melbourne
And I had to take a photo!!

This is a layout challenge which I really liked
Jess and Matt are like black and white..... they are very different
But I am so proud of them both they are unique and wonderful
I am proud to be their Mum

The journalling says (with apologies to Troy Caser-Daley)
You are my daughter, before I held you in my arms I loved you.
Before I heard you breathe, I knew I would give my life for you.
And, no matter where you are, I will always carry you in my heart.

(sorry about the dicey scan..... but it was late when I finished)

Anyway that is about it - Dad has a pacemaker due to be fitted on the 23rd April - which will help his tiredness and he is now off medication which made him giddy and faint..... But all in all they are doing fine.

Jess and Jason have a blog about their honeymoon...... I will ask them if I can link it here so you can access it. Matt is 6 weeks away from his overseas adventure and Heidi is well and her horse Matrix is improving from a broken bone in his leg....... which has caused a bit of concern to her.

We are off to Cairns in a couple of weeks - me for a scrapbooking retreat with Scrap Therapy, and then Phil will join me later for 5 days of looking around the region...... then we will be up to see Ross and Sonya for the long weekend.

Stop looking for the answer, you are! Anon

Thanks for keeping in touch - post a comment and let me know you have visited..... I love to hear from you

Love
Carol
