Scrapping with Vintage Baby Scrapping Kits

So what do you do when you have created over 100 scrapping kits and you need something else to do???? You print off some family favourite shots and scrap them of course!!!

These are photos of me (on pink) and my brother Glenn (on blue) to be totally and unreservedly gender traditional - but what fun these are to use......

I have listed some techniques here and let you in on what I have used as extras - but I really make these kits so you can get a fab result if you just use the kit on a pattered or plain paper backing!!

Other supplies used
  • Prima stitched pattered paper used as backing
  • 11 old vintage shell buttons
Techniques you may like to try
  • Spray doileys with Glimmermist
  • Hang charm below a tied ribbon (I sewed mine on)
  • Scatter buttons and cabochons around the flowers
  • Use buttons on ribbon - mine are sewn on
  • Use teddy on the packaging backing sheet

Other supplies used
  • Prima pattered paper used as backing
  • 16 seed beads
  • 11 crystal beads
  • Music paper
Techniques you may like to try
  • Spray lace with Glimmermist
  • sew seed beads around the photo to add interest
  • Twist lace to add movement
  • Roll edge of music sheet up over a pencil and tie with embroidery floss
  • Cut out a piece of the packaging backing sheet (pram and teddy) and use on the layout on foam tape
